6. Communication Skills – Overall, how do you rate their communication skills, both verbal and written?
Sue’s communication skills are very good. For the past 12 months Sue has had to manage the details of the
new build MindMatters website for PAI. This involved some very complex communication both verbally and
in writing to assist users and staff. Sue handled these tasks very well. In her previous role, Sue
demonstrated developed skill in verbal and written communication. Sue has always shown skill in dealing
with a variety of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
7. Teamwork – How would you describe their ability to work within a team?
Excellent. For many years Sue has been responsible for arranging quarterly national team meetings. This
task required developed skill in dealing with a diverse team. Sue performed all tasks associated with the
planning and operation of the meetings with care, respect and a great sense of team. Sue has demonstrated
that she can actively and productively work as a valued member of a team. Her skill in this area was greatly
appreciated as our team were located across the country so all communications and actions were important
in building collegial relations and sense of team spirit.

8. Strengths – Please describe their technical and professional strengths.
Sue has demonstrated a variety of strengths in tasks allotted to her. Sue is adaptable and flexible with an
excellent problem solving capacity. Her technical strength is evidenced in the successful and smooth
operation of the administration side of the MindMatters work over many years. Sue has trained and inducted
many of the State and Territory administration staff which she has done competently. Sue was responsible
for compiling and formatting reports to funders including the Federal government and this was always done
on time and to a high standard. In her role over the last 12 months her technical and professional strengths
have been further proven with her ease in managing the complex and varied challenges of the MindMatters
website. Sue is adaptable, efficient, personable and always shows initiative. Sue has a good sense of
humour and fun and has an excellent manner when dealing with a variety of stakeholders. Sue is organised
and completes tasks on time. Sue has been a highly valued member of the team.
9. Development Needs – Please describe any areas requiring development.
I have always found that Sue is open to feedback and suggestions and if there is ever any areas needed for
development in a future role Sue will be more than happy to accommodate the new learning.
10. Computer Skills – How quickly did they learn the systems and at what level would you say they were?
Sue is a quick and willing learner who has demonstrated her excellent command of computer systems.
Her computer skill would be in the advanced range.

Sue is a loyal, efficient and delightful person with very good abilities. She has excellent skills and
has shown that she is a quick learner and happy to take on new and diverse tasks. Sue would be
an asset to any work environment. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Sue McClounan.
