 It is owned and managed by IISL.

3. SENSEX
 The SENSEX was started in 1st January 1986
 It is better known as Bombay Stock Exchange .
 It have 30 well established company shares.
 Crossed 30,000 points in 2015.
 The method adopted for calculating Sensex is the market
capitalisation weighted method in which weights are assigned
according to the size of the company. Larger the size, higher the
weightage.

4. SX 40
 Sx 40 is a flagship index of MSEI.
 India’s newest and youngest stock exchange.
 A free float based index of 40 large cap.
 Sx 40 is designed to be a performance benchmark and to provide for efficient
investment and risk management instrument .
 It is started in 2010 and The base value is 1000.

5. HANGSENG
 A market capitalization-weighted index of 40 ,the largest companies that
trade on the Hong Kong Exchange.
 Base value is 10,000
 The Hang Seng Index is maintained by Hang Seng Bank created by Stanley
Kwan on 24 Nov 1969.
 Has four sectors:-
i. Finance
ii. Utilities
iii. Properties
iv. Commerce and Industry

6. NIKKEI
 Its a TOKYO stock exchange .
 Its base year is 1950 and it is reviewed once in a year.
 It has 225 blue-chip companies.
 As of late 2014, the company with the largest influence on the index is Fast
Retailing.
 It is the 4th largest stock exchanges in the world.
 2292 companies are listed under Nikkei.

7. STRAITS TIMES
 It is the benchmark index of Singapore stock market.
 It is a capitalised weighted market index started in 1966.
 No. of companies are 30.Which are performance in straits times.
 Only five companies makes up nearly half of index’s cap.

8. MSCI EM
 Morgan Stanley Capital International is known as MSCI EM .
 MSCI launched Emerging markets index in 1988.
 Emerging markets are relatively risky.
 The Emerging Markets Index is a float-adjusted market capitalization index that consists
of indices in 23 emerging economies: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic,
Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Philippines,
Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey.
 Apple ,Microsoft corp. ,exxon mobile ,Johnson and Johnson ,general electric etc.are the
companies among msci em.

9. MSCI India
 MSCI started on April 30,1993.
 It is an index created by msci global that is designed to measure equity
market performance in global emerging market.
 64 companies are listed under msci india index.
 Msci index is soulfully and dedicated to more fiis because it sees always
soundness and healthyness of business under market capitalisation.
 Cadila healthcare, Tata motors ,Suzuki India , ashok Leyland etc are the
companies coming under msci india.
