Role:
• Coco Palm Dhunikolhu is a 5 star Hotels & Resort property in which my role is to manage the team of 17 in accounts dept
Purchase and stores department, & responsible for bed tax sheet, monthly management account report, monthly closing of
books, inventory management, monthly P&L, cost workings, controlling receivables, payables, and sending Daily flash MIS
report.
• Preparing & maintaining statutory books of accounts and carrying out reconciliation of financial statements in compliance
with the norms.
• Conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results of Food and Beverage costs and
implementing corrective actions for the same.
• Maintaining MIS & reports, evaluating them for facilitating decision-making process.
• Taking care of financial systems and management procedures by proper budgeting (CAPEX & OPEX) & ensuring that
controls are adequate.
• Overseeing controls for advance payments & following up with purchaser, cost centre wise consumption & analysis with
average consumption.
• Ensuring that all payments are made to suppliers within the stipulated time frame and managing accounts payable within
the pre-set parameters.
• Coordinating complete planning & management activities for ensuring completion of internal & statutory audits within time.
• Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of Bed Tax report, Business Profit Tax, Withholding Tax for
Services and Tourism Goods and Service Tax (TGST) in compliance with statutory tax acts.
