2. Camera Angle-Low angle
This is a low angle from top boy and our movie. As you can see our films use the same
camera angles. They are both villains and the most powerful in the film and that's why they
both have low angle camera shots which shows they are powerful.

3. Camera shot-Extreme long shot
We have the same camera shot as another action film which is top boy. We both use a long
shot of the settings which is a shot of east London over an estate. All thrillers use an
extreme long shot at the beginning of the film to show where the film will be set.

4. Mis en Scene – Prop
We use the same prop as kidult hood which is also a action thriller we both
used a knife. As in most thriller films the main violent weapon used are guns
and knife. We also used a knife so again our film is similar to other thrillers.

5. Sound
Youngers- Enigma (Hip Hop) J Dilla – Running (Hip Hop)
We used the same music as another action thriller (youngers) which was hip
hop. As we have the same genre of music, you can see that our film is similar
to other thriller films. Top Boy used hip hop music so we also used Hip Hop
music.

6. Plot (Action-Thriller)
 Top Boy: A thriving but underground drugs business is being run by Dushane and his friend
Sully to become the richest men on the block. To live rich Dushane and Sully go into
partnership with top don Bobby Raikes Rivalry with Kamale and his gang results in their loan
from Raikes being stolen, and they swear revenge. Thirteen-year old Ra'Nell gradually gets
lured into the gang and drug business as his mother Lisa has a breakdown and is hospitalised -
with devastating consequences.
 48 Hours: The plot consists of two brothers, one who took a good route in life and one who
took the bad one. The bad one is in quite some trouble with two gang leaders (owing them
some money). The good brother (Tyreece), one day strolls around the street when he sees his
brother talking with two men who are assaulting his younger brother. What is actually being
spoke about is the fact that Owen (the bad brother) is in debt with the gang members and his
life is at risk if he doesn't give it by a certain time later that day. Tyreece follows him and
they end up colliding with each other. As time passes Tyreece asks Owen to stay round his for
the night. Owen eventually kills Tyreece as he feel as if he will cause a major issue in these
remaining hours that he has to pay his debt so his only way of getting his annoying older
brother off his back is by killing him.

7. Challenges to genre
 Our My film challenges some conventions of media thriller products, the film was shot in broad daylight, but things that we
highlighted would happen at night time and in a alleyway not in a forest as this would create more suspense. Due to health and
safety reasons we did not shot at night. In thriller films when there are running scenes the music would change and become
upbeat and faster, however in my film it was a happy song and stayed on the same beat which did not create any suspense.
 My film is an original owing money to gang members, however it is still different from typical drug films, most drug films have
the main character killed at the end of the film, however the innocent brother was killed. In a sibling relationship there is a
sister who is always the good one and sensible one but we challenged it and used a male who was younger than his brother
which normally the older brother is more mature but we challenged that.
 Our film challenges a few conventions of media thriller products, the film was shot in broad daylight, yet things that we
highlighted would happen at evening time and in a alleyway not in a woodland as this would build a lot more tension. Because
of health and safety reasons we didn't shoot around evening time. In thriller films when there are running scenes the music
would change and get to be cheery and speedier, however in my film it was a glad melody and remained focused same beat
which did not make any tension. My film is an original owing money to gang members, nonetheless it is still not the same as
other typical drug films, most drug films have the main character slaughtered towards the end of the film, however the
