April 2014 – March 2015 Spiecial Heat Exchangers
Position Held: Machine Shop cell Leader and Skilled Machinist.
My main role is to organise the work load in the machine shop. Daily production meetings
assessed the priority of the customers production needs and for the business.
The role also included the reorganising of the machine tools for better through put of the
products.
January 2014 – April 2014 Branston Engineering
Position Held: Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Programmer ,Setter and Operator and
Skilled Machinist.
Working here to program a CNC Lathe and Milling machines, as well as a full range of
manual engineering tools producing components to engineering drawings.
December 2012 – January 2014 Great British Sports Cars
Position Held: Machine Shop Foreman, CNC Programmer and Operator and Skilled
Machinist.
Started here learning to program a CNC Lathe to produce high Spec sport car components
and now running the workshop.

Started here as a Centre Lathe Turner and after a year was involved in introducing a
quality system to become an approved supplier to Customers who required an ISO 9000
rating.
The success of the system got me promoted to quality manager and soon after as factory
manager dealing with customers, quoting for work from drawings, ordering materials and
tooling, managing the work through the workshop along with sorting out wages and admin
for the business.
Sept 1977 – March 1986 English Electric Valve Co.
Position Held: Trade Apprentice, Skilled Machinist
Started here as an apprentice and qualified as a skilled Centre Lathe Turner.
My position and role was working in the research and development department, working
along side of engineers to develop new products for the company.
This involved designing jigs and fixturing for the production lines who manufactured the
components.
