Deputy Venue Technology Managers typically join an organising committee within
the final 12 months and will support the Venue Technology Manager taking
responsibility for specific areas of technology deployment and deputising for the
VTM as needed. This is especially true when covering long operational days where
the DVTM may be called upon to lead venue team briefings and represent
technology in the end of day venue wide debriefs.
Steve was a valued member of the Outer London team and his previous experience
was a great asset. His enthusiasm and dedication to his work was always clearly
evident. He frequently stepped up and filled the role of venue technology manager
with great succes when doing so.
