Reference Letter –Mr. MOHAMMAD SHEHZAD SAFDAR KHATTAK
This letter is to confirm that Mr Shehzad Khattak was employed on a full time basis by TeleResources
Engineering (Aust) Pty Ltd in our NSW Head Office as a Senior RF Engineer and Engineering Consultant and he
worked for the company for the period from April 2005 until October 2007.
Shehzad was involved in a number of RF engineering projects including participation in our activities for major
carriers in their mobile network roll out and enhancement along with other key projects for our carrier and
corporate clients. He performed a key Senior RF engineering and consulting role as a team leader in a Network
Audit for Vodafone and their 3G network roll out and optimisation project. This involved planning of activities,
scheduling tasks (for himself and others) drive testing, measurement and analysis of the new network and
reporting against the stringent corporate KPI’s that had to be satisfied prior to the Public launch of this new
service.
During this project Shehzad and the TeleResources team worked closely with an international project
management team and performed strongly against strict deadlines. He has proven to be a reliable and competent
contributor to the TeleResources Engineering Management & Consultancy team.
During much of his employment he was seconded as our team leader to client offices and through his efforts he
was highly commended for his diligence and attention to detail in delivering the required results. Shehzad also
undertook additional University studies whilst working on challenging projects and achieved outstanding results
despite the limitations in available time through this period. Shehzad has also integrated into multi-disciplined
teams involving our own staff, carriers and supplier organisations to achieve required results.
As a major element of his Consulting obligations Shehzad was require to file the role of Product Manager for a
number of market leading engineering tools and also provided first line technical support and system integration
services. This included the development of significant and complex proposals, bid management, commercial
business case development and contract negotiations in conjunction with our commercial team and dealing with
clients at all levels from the workforce through to Senior Management.
He has gained strong experience and developed well as a highly competent and broadly experienced Senior
Engineer and Engineering Consultant. I am confident that he will continue to develop his industry knowledge and
skills through a varied program of experience in future roles. I have no doubt that he will perform exceptionally
well given career opportunities that require a strong combination of RF Engineering and General Industry
management capabilities. I believe that his management studies and objectives will deliver exceptional results to
employers throughout his future career. I wish him every success.
