Caltrans District 8 Update for the CalAPA Spring Asphalt Conference 2024
Bottino's shoprite
1. City of Vineland, Cumberland County, NJ – The Bottino name
is very well known with four (4) Shoprite supermarkets
throughout South Jersey. The Bottino’s came to CES when it
was time to design their new 88,000 square feet state-of-the-
art supermarket in Vineland. The CES designed site consists of
459 parking spaces, subsurface stormwater management
facilities, a regional sanitary sewer pump station, a mile of
water main extension that included a horizontal directional
bore under a stream bed, tractor/ trailer circulation, and a
new traffic signal to be located on Landis Avenue.
CES worked closely with Vineland officials and was able to
obtain City approvals just two (2) months after the initial
design commenced. Vineland City, as well as the Landis
Sewerage Authority, has also “pre-qualified” CES to perform
site inspections to assure projects are constructed in
accordance with the approved plans. CES provided this service
to the Bottinos and the City during construction of the new
facility.
