Uniphar Group - ICT Support Engineer
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support to Uniphar Employees and external sites and customers.
- Daily backups of company servers and file systems through VEEAM and DPM2012 e.g.
Exchange, SAP, NTFS file shares.
- Image build management and update deployment through SCCM.
- Provide hands on and remote support/troubleshooting of integrated video and audio
conferencing equipment in conference room and mobile system environments.

IT Specialist in Distributed Computing Support Team
Provide on-site support for multiple internal and external customers.
- Provide 2nd & 3rd level support to all IBMbusinesses in the country and to Strategic
Outsourcing customers.
- Work with IBM customer engineering team to coordinate hardware replacements.
- Document common fixes.
- Deliver IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change) activities for internal and external customers.
- Image Build management.
- Data backup/ restore and related administrative duties depending on the customer in question.
- Work with key contacts in other competencies as required, e.g. network support, server ops,
etc.

Pfizer, Grange Castle - Blueshirt Engineer
Duties: Appointed team lead of a build team that worked on a project called: The DMS Project.
The project consisted of updating 800 users and installing 1800 new computers for the
employees of Pfizer. A number of build teams would pick up user's PC's at the end of the day and
installed on average 10 PC's, per team member, in the morning and then resolve user issues for
the remainder of the day - e.g. software, e-mail and account issues.
2007: June - December
Kildare County Council - IT Helpdesk
Duties: Answering helpdesk calls, desk side support of IT issues, documenting procedures, image
build management, escalating IT issues, support and maintenance of the voice/data Local and
Wide area networks.
