OBJECTIVE
To obtain a long term position as master on a 50 metre motor yacht. I have extensive experience as
captain on vessels ranging in size from 30 to 156 feet with over 85,000 ocean miles. This includes a
partial circumnavigation from Oman in the Middle East through the Gulf of Aden, Red Sea,Suez Canal,
Mediterranean, Black Sea,Transatlantic and Caribbean to Florida. Planning and execution of the
Northwest Passage(Arctic Circle). I have completed a total of 6 Transatlantic passages and have
experience as build captain on new construction. I have a good depth of experience with warranty periods
on new vessels and have conducted shipyard refits in numerous countries. I am an economics graduate
with good management and supervisory capabilities and also have a strong engineering and
troubleshooting background. I owned my own vessels for 20 years and have 6 years experience teaching
sailing in the classroom and on the water. I am professional, hard working and a team player and feel I
would be an asset to any motor yacht.
