Class: There isn’t a specific indicator as to what
‘class’ this magazine is aimed at however by
deducing the style of the sell lines it could be aimed
at more a working-class audience.

people which suggests they are targeting an older
audience as opposed to a younger one.
Gender: The magazine is very female focused. The
main image is of a female as are all of these types
of magazines
Ethnicity: The main image is of a white women,
portrayed as a British women. There is near to no
diversity in the models used for these publications.
6. Evaluation
Near to all of these magazines have striking similarities. They all feature a main image of a
stereotypically white British woman with near to no diversity whatsoever.
This could be to attract a specific audience who may relate to the model featured?
In addition to this all the logos are also very similar as they tend to use a similar font and contrasting
colour scheme.
They all feature ‘shocking’ almost unbelievable sell lines to attract a specific audience, these are
complimented by a variety of competitions and mini advertisements.
8. Magazine Contents Page
Shown is a very simple contents page allowing
you to see which page the matching sell lines
story on the cover is.
It is split up into different categories such as
