PREVIOUS (WORLDWIDE) SEAGOING EXPERIENCE
3. Nationality: British
DOB: 29/12/1987
• More than 8 years offshore experience on multiple vessel types (as stated
below)
• Extensive experience as DPO/SDPO/2nd
Officer
• Currently sailing as DP instructor conducting training and familiarization for
new DPOs in DP systems and operational procedures
As a graduate from Fleetwood Nautical College, with a HND in Nautical Science and OOW
License, I have reflected my reliability and capability in a number of roles in the workplace.
The positions, which I have been so far involved in, require self-motivation and a hunger to
learn. A number of testimonials and reports from Captains and Tutors show my eagerness
to push myself to reach new potentials and goals. Working in various environments has
provided me with the skill to adapt and apply myself.
My career has already been decorated with an award through teamwork and I am proud to
mention that during my time representing “DOF UK”, I was part of the 13-man crew that
achieved an award from the charter for 1,000 days without an LTI (Loss Time Injury). This
is quite an achievement, especially in an industry where safety is paramount.
Since working as a contractor I have had extensive experience working with international
Clients and Representatives and have gained an excellent knowledge of how to work with
and deal with multi-departmental operations offshore.
