Here is a look at Insurend's Brochure and my first go at the slideshare app. Please feel free to get in touch if we can help you with anything rendering or EWI. www,colouredrender.com or search LinkedIn for Insurend Ltd.
2. Insurend offer many different types of render. Traditionally in the UK most renders were made up of a simple
sand and cement mix, sometimes troweled smooth sometimes with stones embedded in the mix (pebble dash).
A major issue with these renders was the need to maintain them, failure to do this undoubtedly led to the
render failing. Advancements in technology mean that render has come a long way with additives being mixed
with base materials, to aid waterproofing and resistance to cracking and ease of application. Silicone, acrylic
and monocouche renders have colour within them and are classed as through colour renders.
With the addition of fixing insulation to the walls, solid wall properties can now be brought up to current
building regulations and have their look enhanced with insulation and render.

3. Insurend are green deal approved installers of Internal Wall insulation, Loft Insulation, and External
Wall Insulation. As such we can claim ECO funding for the works we carry out. Insurend can access
all types of ECO funding.
ECO breaks down in to three funding strands;
CERO- Carbon Emissions Reduction Obligation
It provides funding for all home owners and privately renting tenants but specifically for Hard-to
Treat cavity wall properties (HTT) and those in need of solid wall insulation (SWI). Solid walled
properties are eligible for either internal (IWI) or external wall insulation (EWI).
CSCO - Carbon Saving Community Obligation
The Carbon Saving Community Obligation targets private and social housing in low- income
areas (postcodes) as defined by the ECO Order. Measures available under the obligation
include solid wall insulation (SWI), cavity wall insulation (CWI), loft insulation (LI), glazing and
much more. It is expected that this element of ECO will particularly benefit the social housing
sector.
HHRCO - Affordable Warmth
Affordable Warmth (HCRO) is the new Government scheme which replaces the Warm Front
Scheme under the umbrella of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO)
The new scheme offers grants to eligible applicants for measures such as:
• Free boilers and heating controls
• Free cavity wall insulation
• Free loft insulation
The Cashback Scheme encourages people to make energy improvements to their home under
the Green Deal. If you install certain energy efficiency improvements in your home, you may be able
to claim cashback for each measure you install, up to a total of two thirds of the amount you have to pay.
The more you do, the more you get.
