Managed three-shifts responsible for Powder Blending, Plating, Paste, Bio base, Enzyme
Modified Cheese, Encapsulation, Liquid Compounding, Emulsions, Spray Drying and Vacuum
Drying technologies.
• Responsible for 25 non-union technologists in a three-shift operation with an annual $5
million operating budget, and $1million capital budget.
• Routinely worked directly with Chemists and Science & Technology in developing and
modifying formulas to a seamless transition into mass production.
• Sponsored project for improving customer satisfaction resulting in lead times being
reduced by 50% while achieving 99.3% OTDC.
• Certified Green Belt Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma in 2015.
• Over 15 years recorded just 3 total recordable accidents and zero lost time accidents:
direct result of near miss and behavioral based programs.

Production Manager (March 1998-September 2001)
• Responsible for 120 non-union employees and an $8 million operating budget and $3
million capital budget.
• Implemented a “standardized training program” for operations. Standard operating
procedures were created; formalized employee assessment program was developed
(written, on the job).
• Championed a cross-functional process improvement team to address product losses from
overweight bars and recycled product resulting in $0.5 million in savings.

Production / Sanitation Supervisor (September 1991-February 1994)
• Managed the 3rd
shift sanitation crew of 10-20 associates (seasonal), responsible for
cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, and infrastructure in time for the first shift start
up.
