This document outlines the objectives and agenda for a joint staff training event on innovative pedagogies for teaching cultural heritage. The training will discuss creative ways to make cultural heritage appealing for primary students, exchange good practices for formal and informal lessons, and find methods to incorporate cultural heritage across subjects. Participants will discuss how to design lessons for multicultural classrooms and teach science through a culturally informed lens. The document explores how cultural heritage can be addressed in current practices and curricula based on EU definitions, and presents suggestions for developing culturally informed lesson plans that engage with the past, present and future of cultural heritage.
