Iosif Jumanca was an Austro-Hungarian-born Romanian politician born in 1893 in Fólya, Temes County, now Folea, Timiș County. In 1903, he became a founding member of the Romanian branch of the Hungarian Social Democratic Party, which later became the Social Democratic Party of Transylvania and Banat. Near the end of World War I, Jumanca was one of six social democrats representing Romania on a council created in Budapest to prepare for the union of Transylvania with Romania.
