2.  My Reaction:
Today is the perfect time to consider how to become more
environmentally sustainable in order to prevent further damage
to our home.
 Explanation of Issue:
People would possibly consider changing their behaviors or
choices if they gain the understanding of the idea that “You
matter.” Everything one person does, says, thinks, and feels is
important and fundamental to society and the environment’s
improvement or regression. You matter and today matters.
 Influenced by:
My spontaneous decision to consider Veganism led me to
believe that my change is change. The knowledge and
critical mindset I gained thereafter continues to shape this
idea

3. We should care for others first, and worry about
ourselves second?
 My Response:
Neutral
 My view:
I have to offer my consideration for others because I
would like them to consider that I am their equal. As
equals, we have to respect to each other in order to
coexist.

4.  In my life:
o As a mom, I make sacrifices for my child, but I demand
weekly “breaks” from my partner.
o I take the time to dispose of my trash appropriately
because I care about how it may accumulate and offend
others
 Influenced by:
o The Golden Rule (an old adage): Treat others as one
would wish to be treated
o Considering the experiences of other stay-at-home moms
o My experience in a rundown community

found in an objective authority and not in each
individual’s personal beliefs

motives of agencies and organizations

o Youtuber “Unnatural Vegan,” who thoroughly
discusses the implications against veganism of
certain movements, influential people, and media.
o My own research and considerations for other
cultural customs

7. Preserving nature is more important than using its
resources to support human activity
 My Response:
Strongly Disagree
 My View:
If we do not prioritize the preser vation of our
environment and of nature over human
activity, we will need to find a new “home” for
our species sooner rather than later.

o I try to use natural cleaning agents such as vinegar, and
alcohol because I am concerned about the usage of un-
biodegradable soaps
o It is unnerving to see how much our forests have been cut
down within a decade, let alone half a century.

products in her day-to-day usage
