STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Aug. 26—Rounding out the month of August at The State is documentary film Blackfish.
August 26 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.,Blackfish is a shocking and emotional documentary film about Tilikum, a
notorious killer whale who has taken the lives of three humans, including a prominent killer whale trainer, while in captivity.
This thought-provoking documentary film showcases the devastating consequences of keeping killer whales in captivity and
was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Blackfish will be shown again on the following
dates and times: August 27 at 7:30 p.m., andAugust 28 and 29 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. both nights.
