The UniverSoul Circus Downtown St. Louis (Fri. Aug. 25 through Sun. Sept. 6; check

Blues at the Arch at the Riverfront (Fri. Aug. 25, 6-8:30 pm) — It’s the final concert of
this four-part August concert series, held in the North Gateway (near Laclede’s Landing) and
presented by CityArchRiver Foundation and National Blues Museum. Featuring the music of Mar-

Festival of Nations in Tower Grove Park (Sat. Aug. 26, 10 am-7 pm; Sun. Aug. 27, 10
am-6 pm) — Festival of Nations is the region’s premier multicultural celebration, featuring over 40 ethnic food

Meals for a Million at the St. Charles Family Arena (Fri. Aug. 25, 12–6 pm; Sat. Aug. 26, 8:30am-6
pm; Sun. Aug. 27, 8:30 am-6 pm) — Meals for a Million is a community-wide event that offers a co-operative food
packaging event to produce one million dried non-perishable meals for distribution in the St. Louis area and in-
ternational countries. Two nutritional formulas (fortified rice & beans and instant apple cinnamon oatmeal) will
be packaged in sealed pouches. Each sealed pouch provides a complete meal for six children (or four adults).

Jungle Boogie Nights at the Saint Louis Zoo (Fri. Aug. 25, 5-8 pm) — Head to the St. Louis Zoo for an
open-air concert in the center of the Zoo. Refreshments for purchase at Lakeside Café and Tundra Treats. Music

Food Truck Frolic & Movie Night at St. Charles Community College (Fri. Aug. 25, 5-9 pm) — Bring
your family to the Food Truck Frolic and Summer Movie night for an evening under the stars. A family-friendly
event that’s free and open to the public (food cost varies), the food trucks and vendors will be serving up deli-
cious eats and fun treats until dusk. At dusk, bring your lawn chair and blankets and meet on the grassy hill by
the Tech building for a showing of “Captain Underpants.” A rain or shine event. Free.
Chesterfield Amphitheater Sounds of Summer Free Concert (Sat. Aug. 26; 7:30 pm) — Featuring the
music of Revelation, performing a show-stopping tribute to Journey in support of Backstoppalooza. Great music
for a great cause. All donations welcome in supporting Backstoppers.
