Vincent is a Software engineer who build several companies, the latest being dedicated to Andaman7, an app providing Synchronized Health Records. At age 43, he was diagnosed with leukaemia (blood cancer) and 3 months later, his 10 year old son was diagnosed with bone cancer. They spent one year in hospitals and with doctors. Both are alive and well today. From that experience came two very clear conclusions: modern medicine is extremely efficient but the way medical information is managed is years behind what technology offers. Information is not well managed, not easily exchanged and the patient is never in the loop. After suffering through miscommunications and realising he could do something about it, Vincent started the Andaman7 project (he talks about it in details in his blog: http://bit.ly/a7vkblogen).
