Introduction
I enjoy helping people recognize and reach their full potential. Through volunteer experiences
with Epiphany Ministries. I found my passion was counseling to other. I went back to school, and got my
Master’s degree in counseling and certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I started as an
intense case manager at Helen Farabee Mental Health Clinic. I saw the most symptomatic mentally ill
patients Within 2 years, I become manager of the facility. Over the next 3 years, I was able to use
counseling techniques to help clients move towards "recovery" as they defined it. I have had multiple
trainings in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I have successfully worked
with patients diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder, Dissociative Disorders, and Personality Disorders. I am somewhat eclectic in use of
counseling disciplines but the theories I draw from most often are Cognitive, Behavioral, and Adlerian
