AFLW BUSHFIRE APPEAL
The first ever WA derby for the AFLW will be this
Saturday at Optus Stadium. The Fremantle Dockers will
take on the West Coast Eagles for the first time in the
NAB AFLW as the Eagles play only their second game
for the competition. It'd be great to get down to the
stadium to support womens footy and the Dockers (or
the Eagles)!
All funds raised from tickets support the bushfire
crisis relief effort, Australian Red Cross Disaster
Relief and Recovery Fund in support of relief efforts
and emergency assistance following the recent
devastating bushfires.
When: 4:10pm Saturday 15th February
Where: Optus Stadium, Burswood
Price: $3 GA ticket + option to donate to the fire
appeal.
Children are free.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.

Anglican Studies
In this elective unit, students explore the development of Anglican
faith and life from Christian origins in Britain/England to the present
world-wide Communion. Anglicanism in the Australian context will
also be studied, with a special focus on an Anglican understanding
of education.
When: Thursday evenings, 6–8 pm, 12 March – 2 April
Where: Wollaston Theological College, Mount Claremont

If you have some tea towels not being used, we would very much
appreciate some donated. Old or new, as long as they dry up.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The South Metropolitan Health Service Human Research Ethics
Committee is currently seeking expressions of interest for new
volunteer members in the category of a pastoral carer: an individual
who provides emotional and/or spiritual support to the community.
This can include faith leaders, community leaders, community elders.
4. LENT SERVICE
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday which is, this year, February 26th.
We will have a service of Holy Communion at 6:30pm with
imposition of ashes.
Please note there will be only one evening service this year.
Please bring your old Palm Crosses in for burning.
