Behavioral Event Interview (BEI) is a structured interview usually used when
selecting employees. It gathers information about the history of an applicant as a
means of predicting future performance.
• Do your homework
• Come up with a list of competencies, attributes, and skills.
• Create a list of your past experiences
• Focus on the good and the not-so-good.
• Look at past performance documents and appraisals.
