• The first Fourth of July was
celebrated on July 4th
, 1776
when the Declaration of
Independence was signed by our
founding fathers to part ways
with King George of Great
Britain.
• Ever since our families get
together and celebrate by eating
together at a BBQ, going to
parades, and then watching
fireworks.
• At parades children can catch
candy and enjoy the show of
cars, floats, and bands marching
down the road.
• All the big cities in the United
States have a fireworks show at
night.
