The first Thanksgiving was in 1621 when the Pilgrims and Wampanoag Native Americans shared a feast. Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the US and the second Monday of October in Canada. Common Thanksgiving activities include watching football, parades, cooking, and spending time with family.
