• Human resources management is a management function concerned with
hiring, motivating and maintaining people in a organization. It focuses on
people in organizations.
• Human resource management is designing management systems to ensure
that human talent is used effectively and efficiently to accomplish
organizational goals.

• According to Edwin B. Flippo, “recruitment is the process of searching
candidates fro employment and stimulating them to apply for jobs un the
organizations”
• There are two types of source,

2. External Sources
10. • It would be desirable to utilize the internal sources before going outside to attract
the candidates.
• There are two categories of internal sources,
First one is review of the present employees and second one is the
nomination of candidates by employees.
• For promotion and transfer, organizations are adopting to have an internal source
that has the ability to solve problem.
