HTML
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language, and it is the most widely used
language to write Web Pages. As its name suggests, HTML is a markup
language.
1. Open Notepad.
2. The main tags in HTML are <html>, <head> and <body> and to close any
tags HTML uses “/” for e.g. </head>, </body> and </html>
3. <p> is a paragraph tag which informs the computer that a new paragraph is
going to start and to close this tag you use </p>
4. If you would like to give a line break in HTML you use <br> and depending on
the number of line spaces you can add as many number of break tags
5. Once you’ve completed typing all instructions then you must always choose
File Save as and type in a sensible file name with the extension of .html
6. If you would like to open the saved the saved HTML file in notepad then right
click the file and open with then choose notepad
