2. About me
My name is Siwei Li, 26 years ago, I was bornin a traditional Chinese family in Beijing, China.
Me, this summer in Mexico Forbidden City always reminds of Beijing

3. Bachelor Degree:Portuguese Language and Culture
I have always wanted to see the world, to feel the different culture and to live aboard.
During my bachelor degree, I did exchanging programs to Macau and Portugal for one year.
This experience have actually shaped positively my personality and directed my next goal in my life.
The multi-cultural study and live experience have taught me a lot also helped in the following professional step.

4. My very first attempts in professional practices
Working daily as an agent in construction company Working for AliExpress was SOHO from company
After I finished my bachelor degree, I have put my studies to professional practice specially in
intercultural communication and customers’ feedbacks for a year.
I was working in a international construction company in Beijing as an agent in responsible for doing
analysis and program local market of target country.
Following that, I started to work for an international online shopping website ‘AliExpress’ which
dedicated in customers’ feedbacks and relations.

5. Master degree:Art History and Museum Plan

The decision of doing this master degree was due to my personal interest and enthusiasm in
art and art market.
In addition to that, which gave me an opportunity to innovate my mind of thinking and learning.
I’ve learned not just acknowledgements of art, but also the abilities of studying, working and
living in a diverse cultural environment.

6. Work Experience in Retail
The master degree in art not only have taught me how to explore and appreciate beauty, but
also helped to elevate my self-awareness into a new level.
Furthermore, I’d love to use my ability of intercultural communication into a practical way
which spearheaded me to the luxury retail.
During two years working in luxury retail, I haveimproved my ability in team cooperation,
team management and customer relation.

7. Why now with IE Business school?
1. Because this is my life, and I want it played by my way.From my own perspective, I’d love to explore
myself further more with the IE customized program.
2. During two years experience in retail area,I’ve found myself highly interested in management and
communication.
3. Apart from this, IE business plugs to diversity. In my case, I have years of experience in studying and
working with people from different backgrounds.
4. I believe that through the IE program,I would stand out in the professional world.
5. Two close friends of mine have chosen IE business school at year 2017 and 2019,I have been told that
they had an excellent adventure there, and encouraged me to be one of IE student.

8. What do I expect for my future?
I hope during the program with IE, I could explore in business management and build up my
future career.
After that, I’d love to choose my own track to dedicate and then make it perfect.
With the Talent and Career department, I would get an excellent opportunity to find my own
place. For example, I‘m thrilled if I could get an opportunity to work with LVMH group and
L’Oreal group.

9. My new journey in Madrid
I wish I could start my new journey with IE Business School in this beautiful city.
