The main types covered are iron deficiency anemia, sickle cell anemia, megaloblastic anemia, pernicious anemia, and neutropenia. For each type, the drugs used are outlined, including both oral and injectable iron therapies, blood transfusions and hydroxyurea for sickle cell anemia, folic acid and B12 vitamins for megaloblastic anemia, and growth factors for neutropenia.
