1. Neil Druckmann
Neil Druckmann is the creative director of the game The Last of Us, who worked
on previous Naughty Dog games like the uncharted series, first joined as an
intern on 2004. He became creative director after writing a part in the second
game of the uncharted series. In the story of the game he shows a bond growing
between Joel and Ellie, showing that at first Ellie shows her discomfort around
Joel as a stranger and eventually showing that she trusts him. Explaining that
small interactions can tell so much about the characters and their
relationshipsbetween each other. Making a post-apocalyptic story on how the
people would adapt to the sudden change of the world, like how communities
wouldchange for the ruined world, seeing some of the best in people or the worst
in others. Showing that even the main characters only do what they to survive,
weather that be killing so many people to continue living. Aiming to push the
player into thinking outside their comfort zone, and agree of disagree with what
the characters do. When he was directing a scene that was an emotional point
for the character Joel, the actor who played Joel had been over playing the
character in that situation, but at one point telling him to do it in specific points
to give off a good performance.
