2. Company
Profile
Founded in 2011 by three passionate
travelers from IIT Delhi - they kicked it off as
travel community. Mohit soon saw it as a
full time opportunity to break the stereotype
of an unorganized information and lagging
customer satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Kritagya and Gaurav from IIT
Delhi itself joined the company in 2013. With
immense enthusiasm and an attitude to
bring the change, we redefined the working
culture of travel industry by creating
transparency between customers and
service providers using technology.
We introduced the idea of hassle free travel
and successfully conducted 7500+ tours,
treks and expeditions in both domestic and
international destinations so far.

5. Market Analysis
How it works
Bob is a busy person working in a reputed
organization. He wants a break from his
daily routine and plans for a trip
Bob wants a memorable trip and hassle free
travel (everything to be taken care of)
And also looking for optimum travel plan
based on his requirement
Bob has 3 options available -
1. Big Players (MMT / Yatra etc.)
2. Market Place (Aggregators)
3. Local Travel Agent(s)
6. Travel Agent(s) Model
● Bob gets in touch with local travel agent (T.A.) and explains his travel requirement to him
● Local T.A. gets in touch with destination T.A. (expert) and arrange the package for Bob
● Destination T.A. is further connected to various service providers involved in the trip
● Too many mediators involved resulting into multiple POCs and quality of service is not ensured
7. Market-place Model
● Bob put up his query online at the Marketplace
● Aggregators call him to know his requirement and forward the query to at least 3 TAs who further call
Bob and customize his travel itinerary
● Result - Bob receives a lot of calls per day and gets frustrated (remember Bob is busy person)
● Commission of market place also comes into picture (7-10% of total package cost) resulting into
increase in total cost of the package
8. Our Analysis
On one hand quality of service isn’t ensured and
on another hand, customer is paying extra
charges along with a lot of follow ups
In both cases, there are multiple POCs before
and during the trip
Customer gets confused whom to contact
(concerned authority) in case of any query
during the trip
Problems faced in case of Big players (MMT /
Yatra) - mediator involvement, rigid policies, lack
of on-ground support, no quality assurance of
services
As a result, customer satisfaction is not met,
hence no client retention
9. Our Ideology Technology + Experience = Hassle-free Travel
Bridging the gap between customer and
service providers and create a transparent
medium using Technology
Replacing mediators with Travel experts for
respective location(s)
Ensuring on-ground services without levying
any extra aggregator charges
Smooth coordination between client and
service providers
Optimize the work culture in travel industry
10. Current Problems
in Travel Industry
Lack of utilization of Technology
Old school methods still prevalent in the
industry -
● Gmail for operations / booking purpose
● Google spreadsheets for lead follow ups
● Microsoft Word / Google Docs for
creating travel itineraries
With increase in popularity of marketplace
(Travel Triangle, GoFro,
Tripcrafters, etc.), focus has been shifted
towards client acquisition which leads to
increase in no. of conversions - as a result, client
retention and on-ground experience shifted
down
11. Problems we
faced so far
Lack of proper panel / platform in market to
organize the operations of converted leads
With increase in no. of trips, work load increases
and rate of productivity gets reduced
Real time check of the services provided is
missing
No organized way to solve on ground operations
(currently a tedious process)
For eg. -
Customer reached at the destination - cab driver
is not on time for howsoever reason
In the end, customer gets frustrated and a small
hiccup leads to not so good trip experience for
him
