Study of the land surface. It refers to
mountains, valleys, rivers, or craters
on the surface.
7. Location- Asia occupies a large portion of the
world. Its boundaries are as follows:
North- Arctic Ocean
East- Bering Strait and the Pacific Ocean
South- Indian Ocean
Southwest- Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea
West- Ural Mountain Range that divides Asia

Land Area- Asia is the largest of the world’s seven
continents. It measures approximately 45 million sq.
km comprising about a third of the world’s land
mass. From east to west, Asia covers a distance of
8,500 meters.

wind blows from the Arctic
