COCA-COLA HOLIDAY PARTNERSHIP WITH MAKE A WISH
Orlando, Florida October 10, 2010- Coca Cola will be partnering with the Make a Wish
Foundation during the month of November and December. For each coke product sold, a dollar
will go towards the Make a Wish Foundation, which helps make terminally ill children's dreams
come true.
"We are really happy to be doing this. Usually companies donate a percentage of their profit to
different non-profit organizations, but we wanted to do things a little different to be able to give a
large donation to the foundation. I believe it is a great cause and a way for others to give during
this holiday season as well," said Coca-Cola's president, Muhtar A. Kent.
Coca-Cola is looking forward to fulfill a goal of $10,000 dollars. "If we get over that then that's
even better but right now we can push towards our goal," Kent added. Coca-Cola usually does
sweepstakes for the holidays but decided it was time to try something new that will benefit others.
