Emotional Intelligence is an important area of study as far as organisational
context of an individual’s behaviour is concerned.
It is the capacity to screen one's own particular and others' sentiments and
feelings, to segregate among them and to utilize this data to guide one's
reasoning and activities. – (Salovey & Meyer, 1990).
Emotional Intelligence is about understanding one’s own feelings, empathy for
the feelings of others and the regulation of emotion in a way that enhances
