AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
With over twenty years experience in archaeology, Shaun has participated in a variety of projects
including archaeological excavation, survey, research, management and logistics. Shaun has worked as a
Deputy Director and Area Supervisor on numerous State Significant historic sites and has an exemplary
understanding of significance assessment and archaeological best practice guidelines. He has also been
involved with projects in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Solomon Islands and Tanzania and was an
archaeologist and Research Associate (2005) with the Greater Angkor Project, Cambodia, from 2002-2006
and 2014.

(Excavation) responsible for site supervision, planning, machine monitoring, project management,
excavation, artefact analysis and reporting.
Carlton United Brewery (State Significant Project), Sydney, NSW (2009-2010) Site Area Supervisor
(Excavation) responsible for area supervision, planning, excavation and reporting. Primary excavation
