1. Title: Manager (Information Security)
Location: Westville or Jet Park
Position Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced, high calibre Manager, Information Security to manage and
coordinate core aspects of security administration and technologies, audit response and
vulnerability assessment within the boundaries of acceptable risk. Responsible for establishing,
developing and monitoring security standards, procedures, and guidelines that ensure uninterrupted
operation of technology and systems. Protects corporate Information Systems data from
unauthorized access, corruption, use, disclosure or interruption. Identifies and addresses exposure
to accidental or intentional destruction, disclosure, modification, or interruption of data. Manages
team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Serves as subject matter expert and
provides guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive
department inefficiencies. Assists in development, and meeting of, departmental budget.
Responsible for managing the security support and enhancements of SAP applications and SAP GRC.
Will need to understand compliance requirements that may impact security and work with business
partners and project teams to develop security solutions that address these requirements.
Collaboration and coordination with other Global IT teams concerning strategies, plans, operations,
project schedules, and operational decisions are critical.
Key Accountability:
Manages the personnel responsible for supporting the corporation’s IT security architecture.
Serve as a point of escalation for team member’s issues requiring a higher degree of
expertise to resolve and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain security and compliance metrics that are meaningful and actionable for leadership
by establishing baselines, highlighting progress and driving behaviours.
Oversees and participates in the documentation of new IT Security architecture for
confidentiality, availability and integrity by developing: policies, standards and guidelines.
Develop and manage the information security training program for all employees globally,
which includes annual security awareness training, policy specific training, IT Security
Newsletters, security notifications as well as the global phishing campaign.
Possess analytical and organizational skills with the ability to gather, assemble, correlate and
analyse facts, and propose solutions to problems; strong written and verbal communication
skills; and detail oriented and motivated to strive for excellence and drive success.
Develop, document, manage and implement an Enterprise-wide IAM Framework, strategy
and roadmap that outlines and defines the tactical, operational and strategic plan for IAM
throughout the corporation.
Ability to understand business processes, identify and assess IT risk, and apply best practices
to processes, IT risk management and controls.
Monitor, oversee and report on the remediation of security risks, compliance risks and
vulnerabilities within the enterprise while informing the Global IT risk register.
Participate in the IT audit process and drive IT audit recommendation to closure.
Help lead data governance efforts that includes data inventory, classification and
implementation of security controls in support of privacy (GDPR) and security compliance.
Support SAP Security in both internal and external audits.
Responsible for security role and profiles in SAP ECC, SAP ByDesign, Siebel SRM, SAP Portals
and ControlPanel GRC; managing role violations, role owners and documentation.
Lead SAP Security expertise for coaching individual contributors and ensuring SAP is
optimally secure.
2. Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business or related field. One
or more certifications are desired but not required: CISSP, CISA, CISM or similar industry standard
certifications.
Required experience:
10+ years working experience in IT, preferably in different areas of business and technology.
7+ years’ experience in maintaining and supporting IT Security, Cybersecurity and
Information Security initiatives.
5+ years in an IT Security related role.
5+ years’ of contiguous management of Global IT teams.
Required skills:
Strong facilitation skills and a clear ability to build strong relationships with business
stakeholders at all levels, including executive managers and vendors.
Critical thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously working across multiple
projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience across multiple domains of information security.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and
constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business
results.
Proven experience in planning, organizing, and developing IT security and facility security
system technologies.
Experience in planning and executing security policies and standards development.
Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including information security, building
security, and defence solutions.
