Execution Engine (MCEE), maps integration, ECLIPSE, MyTrials and a web analytics tool. application
leveraging Salesforce.com via AIA middleware.
• The Eclipse AIA and Study connect is a uni-directional sync with an inbound operation to study connect which
receives site related information coming from Eclipse and store them in Salesforce.com.
• Study Connect receives updates from ECLIPSE every 4 hours in a batch request. AIA will invoke the Study
Connect web service (Salesforce Apex generated WSDL) through XML gateway as real time synchronous call.
AIA middleware pushes ECLIPSE data feeds to Study Connect (Hosted in salesforce.com) as batches. Finally the
processed data based on some business logic in Study connect is sent to FICO which is the heart of campaign
management through separate batch processes.
