6. The main objective of the study was to examine how different companies use
the services of facebook to promote themselves.

7. The study was carried out on a sample of 20 companies
and how they get themselves promoted on facebook. It
was also studies that what changes facebook brought for
them since its introduction and what are the different
features of facebook they are most benefitted by.
The study was done both on the basis of primary and
secondary data.
8. It has been found that 60% of the companies know very much about facebook and are
using the services of facebook since its invention.
It has also been observed that about 40% of the total products have a separate facebook
page.
70% of the companies are extremely satisfied with the services of facebook, whereas 25%
of the companies are satisfied.
It has been found that companies are as much addicted to the facebook as they are with
their products and services. Every day at an average a company posts twice on the
facebook page to get promoted.
Every day the post reach of every company increases thrice the previous day.
It has been found that the views to a company website are rapidly falling with the access
use of facebook. Customers almost get most information regarding a company on its
facebook page.
The objectives of a company are getting easier with the access use of facebook.
About 99% of the companies recommended facebook for new companies.
9. Facebook obviously has become one of the biggest sources of promotions for every company
(whether small or big). It was observed in my study that facebook is being used in access by the
companies to benefit from its free services. Most of the companies have a facebook page from
where they promote their company, not only this the pages for maximum of the products has been
created to reach the product at global level.
There are about 400 million facebok users and facebook is regarded as the rapidly increasing
social networking site. Companies not only increase sales and productivity with the help of
facebook but also increase the company brand value and goodwill.
The most frequent aim for different companies is to reach the global market. Some companies
keep a view to maximize the sales; some have an objective to online marketing and so on.
There is everything for free on facebook that is why facebook has been also emerged as the
biggest advertisement tool, it advertises the product and services, increases sales and increases the
productivity but the charges are nil. Not only this, facebook has emerged as a tool to customer
retention, facebook also attracts lots of customers to a business unit.
Facebook has proved to be a tool to create competition among different companies.
With the help of facebook a company can get known to the weaknesses of other companies
producing homogenous goods, thus an opportunity to do even better is also created.

products and services on facebook page.
Since it is free a company should practice most of its advertisement
on facebook.
Companies should hire different technical employees who could
manage the company’s facebook page effectively to reach more
customers.
A company should update videos in view of using a new product for
the first time so the customers may feel more satisfied.
Images and status update regarding any product is as important as
its purchase, so the company must update more images regarding
different functions and features of a product.
A company should seek for customer feedback every time they
make a purchase.

It was nice to meet different employees, managers and salespeople from whom I
practiced marketing for the first time.
Got aware about the major reasons why companies prefer facebook from other
social networking sites.
Got aware for the first time that apart from chatting with family and friends
facebook has dozens other reasons for being so global and effective.
Got lot of knowledge and experience working with my guide who was so devoted
and guided me at every point of time with full zest.
It proved to be my biggest ever learning experience; the data collection and
interpretation blessed me with even more deeper knowledge about facebook.
Learned the fact how much dedicated different companies are to facebook,
everything the companies are doing is getting more efficient and effective without
spending any amount.
Knew how companies reached to global customers in the simplest of ways and that
too in such a short span of time.
