To whom it may concern:
I am writing to recommend Shady Zaky for the position of an Administration Consultant. As Co-
Founder and the first Director of HarassMap, I hired Shady as an administrative consultant
during the first few months of our launch. During this extremely critical time, HarassMap was
making the transition from an informal all volunteer initiative to a more formalized organization.
For the first time, we were opening an office, hiring staff, managing a large grant together with a
partner, and setting up administrative systems.
Shady’s advice and assistance during this time was invaluable. He successfully developed and
trained the company's administrative staff and helped develop new administration systems and
processes. His expertise was just what our organization needed to get on track. His suggestions
were insightful, appropriate to our organization’s big-picture long-term goals, and were realistic
to implement.
I found him to be consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile. Not
only was he meticulous in his work, knowledgeable of legal and other regulations, and familiar
with how to make administrative systems work for different situations, but he was also sensitive
to the importance of cultivating a positive and professional working culture and the need for
administrative systems to be designed to support a productive and happy office atmosphere.
I'd highly recommend his services to any company, especially one going through a challenging
transition or early stage development. He really brought us together, increasing both productivity
and morale. Besides being a joy to work with, Shady is a take-charge person who is able to
present creative ideas and communicate the benefits.
