To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the pleasure of working with Dan over the past year at the local, 24/7 Rite Aid in
Oakland. When he initially began at the store, his enthusiasm and boundless energy made him
stand out to all of the management. He was very quickly trained and promoted to a Shift
Supervisor. While I had been at the store for some years now, Dan quickly jumped into the new
position he was given, and proceeded to help out other stores throughout the Pittsburgh area that
were in need of a manager. He asked questions and was more than capable and ready to learn
everything that this new position required of him.
Every time that Dan was given the opportunity to grow and learn, he went above and beyond. He
was kind and courteous to many of our regular customers who referred to him by name and with
whom he shared stories. He didn't mind delegating tasks to other associates and, when new
protocol came from corporate, he effectively counseled every associate in the new policy to
ensure efficient and friendly transactions. Dan made time to train other associates in how to do
certain tasks around the store and was always looking for ways that he could make the store
better.
While at Rite Aid, Dan made an amazing contribution to our management team. He helped to
organize a meeting of the management that was geared to promoting growth and efficiency
during June 2015. He is a hardworking, enthusiastic managed who strives for greatness
everywhere that he goes in the hopes that it will become a better place after he leaves it. His
presence as a member of our team will be sorely missed, but anyone who takes him onto their
team will not be disappointed. I wish him the best of luck in all of his endeavors.
