Phoenix Mineral Resources is Geoscience and Exploration Company, emphasizing on
prospecting and exploration of new, unknown mineral deposits, and developing green projects up
to bankable stage utilizing state of the art technologies in combination with long-established
classical methods of exploration.
Phoenix Mineral Resources expertise in exploration includes (but not limited to): uranium; base,
rare and precious metals; precious and semi-precious stones; industrial minerals; dimension
stones; underground water.
Our motto is to provide service excellence, combining the knowledge and experience to supply
professional and accurate services to our clients.
Major achievements of the company:
 Underground water exploration for MINESA gold mine, in collaboration with “Servicios
Geologico Intergratos”, Colombia, South America, 2016.
 Evaluation of potential and providing recommendations for further exploration and
mining of Rubikon rare metal (lithium) deposit. Planning of drilling exploration program.
Electromagnetic survey utilizing Magnetotelluric System Stratagem.
 Presentation on Roy Miller Symposium, August, 2014.
 Research on Graphite Deposits in Namibia and evaluation of potential.
 Electromagnetic survey of deep Karoo paleochannels in Kaokaland utilizing
Magnetotelluric System Stratagem. The provided data enabled the stratification of Karoo
deposits, which was previously impossible to achieve by means of traditional EM
equipment.
 Project administration, planning and budgeting of three uranium EPLs for “Renova
Group of Companies”. Full management and execution of exploration program (ground
spectroscopic survey, EM survey, drilling, trenching). Resources evaluation. Marketing
of the project, with the aim to sell.
 Presentation “Uranium resources of Namibia” in Moscow.
 Participation in International Uranium Conference with oral presentation, Namibia.
 Inspection and evaluation of prospect for primary uranium mineralization in Erongo
region. Providing recommendations for potential buyer.
 Evaluation of base and rare metals prospects in Namibia. Providing recommendations
and compiling reports; resources evaluation, planning of exploration and development
strategies, budgeting.
 Initial exploration of alluvial/hard rock gold deposits.Investigation of suitable clay
deposits for “Areva”.
 Planning of exploration and mining programs Inspection of fluorite prospect.
 Reconnaissance, mapping and sampling program of REE, base and rare metals project.
 Planning, organization and executing of reconnaissance program for “green field”
uranium prospects on the North of Namibia. Providing recommendations, evaluating of
resources, planning of exploration program.
 Planning, organization and executing of offshore geophysical survey on the shelf of
Namibia (Skeleton Coast).

OUR EQUIPMENT
1. The Stratagem model EH4 magnetotelluric system
The Stratagem is a unique magnetotelluric (MT) system used for measuring the electrical
resistivity of the earth over depth ranges of a few meters to greater than one kilometre.
This system uses both natural and man-made electromagnetic signals to obtain a continuous
electrical sounding of the earth beneath the measurement site.
MT systems are used to measure the electrical impedance at the earth’s surface using a series of
simultaneous measurements of local electrical and magnetic field fluctuations. These field
measurements are made over a period of several minutes; Fourier transformed, and stored as
power spectra. The surface impedance calculated from these spectral values is a complex function
of frequency where higher frequency data are influenced by shallow or nearby features, and lower
frequency data are influenced by structures at greater depth and distance.
An MT sounding provides an estimate of vertical resistivity beneath the receiver site and also
indicates the geoelectric complexity at the sounding site.
The Stratagem system consists of two basic components; a receiver and a transmitter. In the high
frequency range, natural signals are typically weak and use of a transmitter can improve data
quality data.
Stratagem measurements may be effectively applied in ground water investigations, mineral and
geothermal exploration. Because this battery-powered system is compact and portable, it is
productive even on rough terrain and also may be operated successfully in fairly hostile
environments. The speed and portability of the Stratagem system allows for a flexible survey
design. Surface impedance results are immediately displayed as a resistivity sounding and may
also be processed in groups of soundings and viewed in section while on site.
This flexibility enables the investigator to alter the survey design on site based on preliminary
processing and examination of measurement results.

Stratagem data can be successfully used for creating very accurate 3D models in Surfer
gridding software:
Flexibility of Surfer software combined with comprehensive Stratagem data provides opportunity for accurate
determination of shape and extent of various geological structures and exact calculations of ore body volume
and potential mineral resources.
