3. • Reconnoitre Exploration for Gold and Base Metals mining opportunities in North and
Central Madagascar: Desktop study of all available data from public domain and published
mineral data from the Govt. of Madagascar, identification of potential area for gold mineralization
using hyper-spectral image analysis, identification of important structures favorable for
hydrothermal activity using hyper- structural image analysis of aster images. Mapping of a all
major quartz veins and faults around old workings, Slope stability study and other geotechnical
investigation of old drilled cores, collection of first pass reconnoiter stream sediments sample,
chip sampling and channel sampling of all quartz veins, analysis of sample assay data and
categorizing shortened area for further detail exploration.
• Mine site due Diligence and near mine exploration for chromite at Brieville Kraoma in
Madagascar: Identification of major structures related to ultramafic rock and their relationship
with the surrounding media have been studied and mapped to understand the mining advancement
direction, the subsurface behavior of the ore body was understood using Down Hole survey &
selective gamma logging in the bore holes that were drilled on the top of the faces. Correlation of
field data with the face map prepared in the mine. Different grade ore were thus delineated and
their categorization based on specification suitable for Geotechnical grade or chemical grade,
selective mining zones were identified to maintain a consistency in final product.
• Project generation for various Indian and International Clients for application and
acquisition of Exploration Lisence in South America, Africa and Europe: On Client’s interest
(in terms of geography and mineral), development of a generic database about potential area for
exploration based on earlier exploration data, remote sensing data, analysis of infrastructure and
port facility, mining policy of the country and sovereign risk in the area.
• Due Diligence of Mining Assets in terms of technical and techno-commercial aspects in
South America, Africa, Europe: On Client’s interest (Mining properties for sale or JV),
verification of the earlier exploration report and data, identification and verification of stable and
hazard free zone within the permit area using Geotechnical Parameters, hyper-spectral image,
capex and opex sheet audit, analysis of any sovereign risk in the region, vendor management.

properties which are listed for sale in Russia, Sweden, Peru, Chile, West Africa & Australia.
• Project Geologist for a year in Bunder Project later known as Saptarshi Diamond Project of Rio
Tinto. Spearhead exploratory drilling and all geotechnical logging in the nearby area of main
Kimberlite pipe B-28 and discovered and established another 18 Hec area to be diamondiferous.
The same Project is now a big success in India and worldwide. After Argyl and Lake d' Gras it is
the third largest diamond mine under process.
• Consultant Geophysicist and Geologist for Uranium Exploration in North Western Niger for
Taurian Resources SA later known as Dharni Sampada Pvt. Ltd. By using handheld XRF analysis
for the Drilled Samples, discovered that the style of mineralisation is of two types one is the
secondary leaching of pitch blend in laterites and the other is possibly Iron Oxide Uranium Gold
type deposite(IOUG). These two areas are are still held by DSPL and they are planning to go for
an outright sale because of the complexity of mineralisation.

6. Sungo area. Based on the preliminary exploration and mapping a new area between Sungo and
Moatize has been discovered to be coaliferous. The area lies in line between Vale and Riversdale's
mines.
• As a Senior Exploration Geologist in Salva Resources (Later HDR | SALVA) I was the Project
Manager for various Projects including Essar Zimbabwe's Mwanesi Iron ore Exploration Project.
The project was successfully completed in Feb 2013 with Geological and Geotechnical Report
under my management and 10,000m drilling followed by resource estimation. Now the project is
in a more advance stage for mine planning and pre-feasibility report to be done by Essar
Management. This is a colossal deposit with strike length over 19.31km.
