Korea Agency for Saemangeum Development & Investment Agency (KASDI) was established in
2013 as an independent central government agency to provide professional assistance to
companies intending to invest in Saemangeum.
Our task is to develop Saemangeum, a brand new territory at the western coast of Korea created
through reclamation project, into a future global city that will change the concept of how people live,
work and play.
Saemangeum Project is a grand national project that challenged the limitations of human abilities
by closing down the ocean with 33.9km-long world's longest sea wall to create new territory
as large as five times the Manhattan.
This massive project has finally embarked on investment promotion since 2010 after a 19-year-long
construction of the great Saemangeum Sea Wall.
