Bachelor of Science, Automobile Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology (May 2010 – 14)
Coursework and Projects : Mechanical design, Automotive Systems, FEA, Rural Multi-Utility Vehicle
EXPERIENCE
Product Design, Sasya Veda Technologies, Bhopal, India (March 2015 – Dec 2015)
Designed and developed a battery operated electric load carrier that reduces labor and triples productivity at half the
cost in several industrial operations.
Designed the chassis and transmission system using Solidworks to meet the requirement of superior load carrying
capacity and maneuverability. Analysed the structural strength of the chassis using Ansys Workbench.
Integrated the hand throttle and brake system for ease of operation and effort reduction.
Graduate Engineer Trainee, New Holland Fiat India Pvt Ltd, Greater Noida, India (Oct 2014 – March 2015)
Worked as a graduate engineer trainee in the product development department. The team was responsible for
vehicle integration and optimization.
Designed and integrated new clutch and brake pedal system using PRO E for the mid-size tractors to decrease driver
effort and improve ergonomics.
Drafted the pedal design (including links, brackets) and monitored the prototype development.
Tested and optimized the prototype to meet the requirements in time.
PROJECTS AND INTERNSHIPS
Rural Multi – Utility Vehicle, Manipal, India (August 2013 – June 2014)
The aim was to develop a low cost frugal vehicle which solves the major transportation, agricultural and daily life
problems of rural India.
Designed a space frame tubular chassis and suspension system using Solidworks. The front double wishbone
suspension system was designed to cut cost and tackle rough terrain without compromising on ride quality.
Carried out the static and dynamic simulation of the chassis for failure and crash test using Ansys workbench.
Fabricated the first functioning prototype of the vehicle which was rigorously tested on various terrains.
Trainee at Honda Motor India Pvt Ltd, Greater Noida, India (June 2012 – July 2012)
Worked on the management and functioning of warehouse. Created a flowchart algorithm of the intake, storage and
distribution system of the warehouse which was used to optimize the processes.
