Abstract : The principal objective of this project is to planning and estimation of Residential Building by using an autocad . the first objective of this project is to
realize sufficient knowledge in planning and estimating. our project deals with the plan and style of a Residential Building.structural planning and design is an art
and science of designing with economy and durable structure. the entire process of structural planning and designing requires not only imagination and
conceptual thinking but also sound knowledge of science of structural engineering beside knowledge of practical aspects ,such as autocad .for this purpose a site
is considerd which have dimensions 40’ x 60’for whole area we are planning G+3 which including a ground floor , first floor,second floor ,third floor it consists of all
rooms required for a residential house like bedrooms, toilet , living / dining room, kitchen, puja and store room.
Autocad is a software tool to design functional design of any plan .it involves outer appearance of the plan.
CAD [computer-aided design] is also known as computer aided drafting (CDD ) . Its a type of computer software that is used to creat 2d . this kind of software is
used in various professions to creat building plans , technical drawings ,architectural designs,etc.
CAD design drawings give a valid and accurate details of designs they are :1. provide accurate dimensions ,2. show the inner details of the design , 3.Include all
necessary drafts with technical details of design. finally determining the general cost of the structure before execution of labour . during this project work, an
effort is formed consistent with building by laws and style of residential building as per is : 456-2000, IS-1200 and SSR . This article includes design & estimation of
