Provided individualized therapeutic support to children in the school setting as well as in
the home setting. Followed treatment plans to better serve the client and worked with a
team of professionals to help client reach behavioral and emotional goals.
BEHAVIORIAL WORKER, KENSINGTON MANAGEMENT SERVICES
April 2016- November 2016
Provided emotional and behavioral support to a group of children in the school setting.
Engaged in weekly support groups with clients and reinforced positive behavior while
ignoring ad redirecting negative behavior. Used problem solvingskills to help clients
through their school days while passing on skills to teachers and school staff.
HEAD TEACHER/ASSISTANT TEACHER, PRIMETIME EARLY LEARNING CENTER
May 2015- March 2016
Started off as an Assistant teacher and quickly moved up to Head Teacher taking on more
responsibilities. Responsible for creating weekly lesson plans, monthly newsletters, and
daily activities. Supervise children ages 9 months – 10 years old and teach toddlers ages 2-
4. Work hands on with children on the Autism spectrum and provide an open
communication environment with parents

I currently hold a 3.1 GPA and have taken courses such as Introduction to Graduate Studies
in Health Science, Introduction to Addiction and Substance Use Disorder, Professional
Counseling Orientation and Ethics, Counseling Theories, Social and Cultural Diversity Issues
in Counseling, Group Counseling Theory and Practice, Psychopharmacology and Addictions

I graduated with a 3.2 GPA and took multiple courses in Psychology including,
Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Techniques of Behavior Modification,
Personality Theory, Social Statistics, Drug and Alcohol Counseling I-II, Psychopathology of
Children and Adolescents.
