 Served as a role model, and a mentor for children ages 8-14,
majority of typically came from low-income homes, single-parent
or some type of family dysfunction including parents incarcerated,
drugs and alcohol situations, or low education levels. Some
children also had behavioral and/or social problems.
 Led and participated with all activities for children.
 Helped children establish goals that they were to complete for next
time: academic, behavioral, and community service.
Volunteer: The Women’s Center, Lock Haven, PA

 Helped keep the center clean for the women and their families.
 Cleaned rooms and got them ready for when one resident left to get
ready for the next resident.
 Interacted with the women and their children that were residents at
the center.
 Aided the women in moving in, getting situated and feeling
comfortable in their new environment.

January- May 2015
 Sitting in on preliminary interviews of potential clients looking
into service dogs.
 Attending pet therapy once a week at the Pennsylvania
Psychiatric Institute in Harrisburg, PA.
 Attending team training to assist client learn to handle their new
service dog.
 Working with the trainers during temperament testing and public
training.
