Welcome. On behalf of Team Hedy Lamar, I am Andrea ( and I’m Ricky) and today we will show you how to Tapp into your mail with our digital product: TappIn!
In our interviews, we heard both your and your clients unmet needs,
Your clients receive a lot of phyiscal mail, making it difficult to work and organize efficiently. As a result, your clients employees have limited access to important mail that they need, and there is poor communication throughout the company.
From these needs, we identified opportunities on which Tapp can capitalize. By digitizing the process of receiving physical mail, you add efficiency and value to the organization. Cllients can work remotely with access to mail and communicate better throughout the organization.
We have priorities these needs, to address these opportunities in our solution.
Clients receive a lot of physical mail
Difficult to organize
Limited access
Poor communication
Digitize the process to add efficiency and competitive value
Remote access to digital mail
Client satisfaction
Based on these needs and opportunities we came up with 4 objectives for this project
First, we create a digital solution for physical mail, that will increase access, connectivity, and efficiency for both Tapp and your clients
Our solution will decreases time spent sorting and searching through physical mail to find important or lost items
We will increase the speed that users working remotely can access their mail
Finally, we heard your goals and and saw an opportunity to scalability the solution and license TappIn to outside clients
Create a digital solution to track, store, and distribute physical mail
Decrease time spent sorting through mail
Increase speed of mail delivery to remote clients
License solution to outside clients
With that goal in mind, we envisioned licensing our solution to Lionra Corporation, a Technology Consulting firm for non profit clients located in downtown, Boston MA.
Their consultants often work remotely from home or from client sites, and don’t have access to their mail delivered to the office.
We are going to introduce you to 4 key employees who can benefit from using TappIn.
First, meet Marlin. He is taking the role of the “system administrator” in our solution.
He currently works as an IT specialist for Lionra corporation. As an IT guy, everyone comes to him with all of their technical problems. He said:
Next, meet Thomas Navaro. He is working part time as a mailroom clerk at Lionra corporation. As someone retired from the industry and has less technical skills, but enjoys still working in business. He loves working at Lionra because it keeps him busy during the day before he picks up his grandkids.
This is Suzanne Jensen, the HR manager at Lionra.
In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and leading her daughter’s girl scout troop. However, she has less technical skills and often goes to Marlin to solve her computer needs.
She is always looking for the best and brightest consultants, and says ” “
Finally, meet Melissa. Suzanne has just hired her as a new IT consultant for Lionra Corporation.
Born and raised in Stafford, Connecticut, Melissa is is a new mom with a 14 month old daughter. She doesn’t want to uproot her family by relocating to Boston for her job.
We will now watch Suzanne, Marlin, and Thomas TappIN to set up Marissa’s with her mail.
Two budgets for the solution. Initial Budget for Tapp to create the solution, require 180 hours to build it using 2 developers at 90 hours each
Also created a budget to the licensee clients
The 4 key benefits of our solution are
Communication
Organization
Connectivity
Value
We saw improved communication between marlin and thomas.
Suzanne was able to stay organized.
and marissa was able to stay connected to her colleagues at Lionra even from afar
This solution provides four main benefits to TAPP and its clients. TappIN allows for better connectivity between the companies, which provides better organization throughout the company. The product will also improve the communication between employees regarding their mail. All of these provide a value add to tapp and their clients
