Month End Close
Involved in month end close activities for a large contract (RBS), monitoring month end close in SAP
and making suitable accounting adjustments such as:
o Revenue Accrual & Revision
o Revenue Adjustments
o Severance revenue and cost deferral/release
o Deferral and Amortisation of transition cost
o Cost cross charge between cost centers
Maintaining register for global disputes in billing and making appropriate provision in P&L at month
end.
Verifying and facilitating the approval of invoices from sub contractors against the services rendered
as per signed SOWs and making appropriate cost accrual entries in System.
Preparing revenue and cost expectation numbers and monitoring the variance with actual numbers
in system on a daily basis during month end close.
Facilitating close meetings with Service Delivery Head and Finance Lead to review the month end
close activities and discussing the variances between forecast and actual numbers.
Preparing close consolidation for management review.
Checking Cost Allocation between different contracts and recharging the cost to respective contracts
Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis
Setting up Flash meetings with Service Delivery Heads and Finance Leads to finalise Budget/Outlook

Preparing flash consolidation for management review.

process in PeopleSoft.
Suggesting enhancements in PeopleSoft and coordinate with the technical team for making
enhancements and conducting Testing before the enhancements could move into production.
Preparing quarterly audit schedules and reconciling the figures with Balance Sheet/P&L Account.
