Worked through various positions within the Purchasing Department, starting as a Coordinator,
and am now responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all purchasing
functions related to 3rd Party suppliers for Carter Fuel Systems. Below is a list of current job
functions….
 Prepare RFQ’s for new product development and cost saving initiatives and following
through with supplier selection in order to maintain on-time supplier delivery schedule
while achieving a desired cost improvement.
 Support Distribution Center with incoming product quality issues and shipping delays by
working through any product concerns with supply base and providing innovative
solutions to obtain resolution in a timely manner
 Maintain comprehensive reports for executive management, including but not limited to
master supply listing, cost improvement/avoidance analysis, purchase price variance, and
lost vendor/shortage action items.
 Negotiate terms and contracts with global supply base in order to accomplish premier
sourcing while maintaining high quality standards.
